From Learning to Teaching – Finding My Path in the Lab
Honestly, my journey into this field wasn’t very clear in the beginning.
Like many others, I faced confusion, overthinking, and self doubt. There were times I questioned whether I was on the right path.
But slowly, things started making sense.
A major turning point was becoming an ASCP Molecular Biology instructor. I was given a subject and had to build everything from the root level, starting with reference books, then preparing notes, question banks, question papers, conducting live discussions, and recording sessions.
It wasn’t easy. But that process changed me.
I was no longer just studying to pass exams. I was learning to explain, simplify, and truly understand.
At the same time, working as an apprentice at Jubilant Biosys helped me connect theory with real lab practice. Performing techniques like PCR, cDNA synthesis, RNA isolation, ELISA, Western blotting and other techniques made every concept more real and meaningful.
Balancing both roles hasn’t always been easy, but it shaped me into someone more confident and disciplined.
Today, I’m still learning, still growing…
But I know one thing for sure, this field didn’t just give me knowledge,
It gave me direction. And I’m still walking forward… with purpose
